Accreditations
The International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO)
Since November 2006, Oakdale has been awarded and maintained the ISO standard 9001:2000 and its successor ISO 9001:2008.
This demonstrates that Oakdale’s quality management system is operated in accordance with this internationally recognised standard, which promotes continuous quality improvement.

British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)
Oakdale’s counselling and psychotherapy services have been accredited with BACP since November 2003. BACP accredited services have to demonstrate a high quality of service delivery; meeting benchmark standards that are maintained by annual assessment. In addition, accredited services are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy, which informs our standard policy and procedures.
The majority of Oakdale’s practitioners and affiliates are also individually accredited members of BACP or have achieved an equivalent recognised standard with another professional body.

‘BACP’ is the registered Trade Mark of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy
Employee Assistance Professionals Association (EAPA)
As a member and registered external provider of EAPA, Oakdale is committed to maintaining EAPA’s rigorous standards and code of practice in all our employee assistance and wellbeing service provision.
