Oakdale provides a primary care psychological therapies service to Calderdale PCT using the Stepped Care approach.  Working in partnership, the PCT and Oakdale seek to provide increased access to psychological therapies for the population of Calderdale.

 

The Role

·        Reporting to the Operations Manager ·        Meet quality and service level agreements ·        Responsible for managing the performance of the practitioners and administrative support staff delivering the service ·        Developing the competencies of team members ·        Developing and improving the delivery model ·        Promote continuous improvement for the service

·        Experience in managing a clinical team ·        Able to capture, present and interpret measures which reflect the performance of the team ·        Outcomes oriented leader, capable of motivating the team ·        Experience of customer focussed working ·        Well developed knowledge of psychological therapies ·        Capable of working strategically, planning and prioritising the deployment of resources

We currently have a post for a IAPT High Intensity Psychological Therapist (Trainee) at our Halifax Office

Oakdale is a provider of high quality psychological therapies services and currently has exciting new opportunities with the development of an IAPT service based in Halifax, West Yorkshire:

 

IAPT High Intensity Psychological Therapist (Trainee): You would work as a cognitive behavioural therapist within Oakdale’s primary care psychological therapy service for three days per week and would attend the High Intensity Worker one year university training course in Huddersfield  for the remaining two days per week. You will currently hold a professional registered qualification in health care, preferably at graduate level, (psychology, nursing, social work, allied health professional or counselling) and demonstrate some experience of high intensity CBT interventions.  Candidates without an appropriate core professional qualification should submit evidence of their psychotherapeutic knowledge, skills and attitudes by completing a KSA Evidence Form, which will be included in the application pack. 

Salary equivalent to Band 6 from £24,831

We currently have a post available for an Administrative Assistant at our Halifax Office.

Office Administrator required for a busy service offering psychological services throughout Calderdale. The applicant must have excellent typing, communication and organisational skills. The role involves dealing with members of the public and practitioners from various NHS providers. This is a demanding role to be worked over a 5 day week to include evenings and Saturdays on a rota system. In house training will be provided, but a good knowledge of Microsoft office packages is essential.

We currently have a post available for a Service Manager at our Peterborough centre.
